It may be late-January and near the depths of winter, but it's never to early for thoughts to turn to the start of next year's fleet racing season. In that spirit, we bring you the good news that our Chesapeake Alerion Fleet 2020 High Point Racing Schedule has been finalized!
Fleet Captain Jack Detweiler attended the CBYRA scheduling meeting on Saturday January 25th and provides this report. We will post each event to the calendar on the website along with registration information soon. Please check back for updates.
2020 Chesapeake Alerion High Point Racing Schedule:

*** POSTPONED *** Leukemia Cup - 5/30/20
EYC One Design Classic - 6/27/20
AYC Annual Regatta - 7/25/20
CRAB CUP - 8/15/20
Hospice Cup - 9/19/20
AYC Fall Series - River Races - 10/10/20
Some of the fleet has expressed interest in sailing the additional races listed below.. These will be scored as One Design or PHRF, depending on the number of entries.
North Sails NOOD Rally Race - 5/16/20
Miles River Race - 5/23/20
Poplar Island Race(CHESS-Double Handed-3 for One Design) - 6/6/20
Finally, CBYRA has moved our Fleet to Cruising One Design(COD). Charlie Husar is the Fleet Scorer, so he will be scoring us based on the COD Requirements under CBYRA. You must be a paid up CBYRA Member and have sailed in 5 Events/Regattas to Qualify.
